After 14 years in medical sales and marketing, I made the leap into real estate, and it all started when my husband and I bought our first home. (He’s a physician, and we had no idea how hard it would be to find someone who even understood physician loans.)
That experience opened my eyes. Now, I work with lenders who specialize in physician loan programs, so my clients don’t have to learn the hard way like we did.
But I don’t just work with physicians! I also guide first-time buyers, seasoned sellers, investors, and relocation clients through every step of the real estate journey.
With a people-first approach, a sharp eye for detail, and a let’s-get-it-done attitude, I aim to make the real estate process feel a lot less overwhelming and maybe even enjoyable.
Outside of work, I stay connected to the medical community through organizations that support cancer research, mental health advocacy, and community outreach. My husband and I are also proud pet parents to six animals (yes, six!). Our fostering privileges may be officially revoked, but we still support local Dallas-area shelters however we can.
If you’re a resident, medical student, or physician looking to connect, I’ve included my husband’s info below. Dr. Besas is always happy to chat, mentor, or nerd out about medicine.
Dr. Jonathan Besas grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate studies. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., before pursuing his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Oklahoma State University and then moved to Texas for fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, where he had the honor of serving as Chief Fellow.
After fellowship, Dr. Besas joined Texas Pulmonary and Critical Care Consultants, where he continues to care for patients in both the clinic and ICU. He also serves as the Medical Director of ECMO and Division Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. Dr. Besas is passionate about critical care, teamwork, and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
